Use Us?
As the owner of Coal Creek Outfitters, I am committed to
providing you with the highest quality, safest hunt possible. I
personally oversee the guides, livestock and setup of the camp to
maintain those standards. As a Colorado native, I am confident in my
knowledge of the terrain and the game.
If you're looking to sit in a tree stand and wait for the game to
come to you, Coal Creek Outfitters are not the guides for you;
however, if you're looking to experience the glorious Rocky
Mountains, breathe in the crisp, clean air and have a real hunting
experience, then I recommend you consider using us. I could tell you more about myself and my ideas of what a good
hunt is, but I figure you'd rather hear from some people who have

About Monty
I hunted with Monty in October 2004. I saw a lot of elk while
hunting but chose to wait for the right one. Monty was very
patient and worked hard for me. The last afternoon of my hunt I
took a big 4x5 thanks to Monty. I am planning to hunt with Monty

Our hunt was PERFECT! It was challenging, exciting, and
bountiful. We all harvested a fine bull elk. It was the kind of hunt
you read about in magazines that is always written by some other
lucky hunter. Well, not this time. We were the lucky hunters. We
have the stories, we have the pictures, and we have the meat and
