How to
Obtain Your License
Bull elk licenses can be obtained locally once you arrive for the
2nd and 3rd seasons; however, if you want to hunt in the first or
fourth season, or muzzle loading,
you'll need to obtain your license prior to your arrival.
to purchase your hunting license online. If you are interested
in muzzle loading, the first year you'll receive a preference point
(this is important because a minimum of 1 preference point is
required to draw your tag). Please note: You will need a
Hunter's Safety card in order to purchase a license. If you are
planning to purchase your license upon your arrival, you must bring
cash or check, you cannot purchase your license with a
credit card in person, only online.
