Coal Creek Outfitters' camp is located in beautiful southwestern
Colorado amidst the San Juan Mountains.
We offer a 5 day hunt, going into camp the day
before and coming out the day after so we can make the most of the actual season.
You'll want to plan for a full week. We set up a main camp
where we will leave every day at dawn. At camp, we have two large tents
that are warmed with a wood stove. One tent is used for sleeping
arrangements and the other is used as a cook shack. We provide cots with
air mattresses to make your visit in the mountains as enjoyable as
possible. In the first and second seasons of archery and muzzle loading,
an outdoor shower is set up; however, it's too cold in the later seasons
as you can see in some of the pictures below with the snow covered
ground.
All meals are provided in your registration fee. Camp will
be set up prior to your arrival with the exception of perishable items.
If you have special dietary needs, please let me know as soon as
possible. Of course, you're also welcome to bring your favorite snacks
along.
We've also set up a nice fireside seating area so you
